Feedback from the NCSN 2006 Survey highlighted a practitioner need for up-to-date summaries of key Home Office and other departmental policy. NCSN are now producing regular ‘60 second policy briefings’ on key community safety topics for NCSN members.

The Home Office Guidance for Effective Partnerships (published September 2007) aims to assist CDRP/CSPs in meeting and excelling the National Minimum Standards - in order to achieve the desired outcomes of (1) Effective Partnerships; (2) Safer Communities; and (3) Community Confidence. This briefing summarises key points from the Guidance.
