Blears puts Prime Minister under pressure

As the Ministerial casualties continue to mount putting pressure upon Gordon Brown, Community Safety Practioners find themselves minus a Home Secretary and Communities Secretary.

Is it something we have done or are we just being careless?

Hazel Blears resignation ends a long standing Ministerial link to our profession. It is embarrassing for any  Minister to leave the Government under suspision of financial irregularity linked to the expenses scandal , but for a Minister working in Crime & Disorder reduction through roles as Police Minister and Communities Minister it is incredible.

In the interim we shall carry on reasuring the public, whilst waiting for further developments.

Whatever will happen next ?
