The Introduction to Community Safety is the only accredited Community Safety course available in Northern Ireland and is fully endorsed by the Community Safety Unit of the Northern Ireland Office. The course is of particular benefit to those engaged in community safety issues within the statutory, voluntary and community sectors and provides the underpinning knowledge units for the Progression Award in Community Justice.

The Certificate in Crime Prevention and Community Safety is a modular programme which covers the theoretical underpinnings of situational crime prevention theory and techniques.
The credits gained from successful completion of the Certificate in Crime Prevention and Community Safety can contribute towards a modular Graduate Diploma/MSc in Crime Science should students wish to undertake further study.

The Diploma in Crime Prevention and Community Safety is a modular programme which will cover the application of scientific principles and concepts to crime reduction, and the theoretical underpinnings of situational crime prevention theory and techniques.

Credits gained by students who have successfully completed the Certificate in Crime Prevention and Community Safety can contribute towards the Diploma in Crime Prevention and Community Safety, and students who successfully complete the Diploma may be able to transfer their credits to the MSc in Crime Science, should they wish to further their studies.
