Problem Solving and Partnership Working at it's best!

Has Arrived!

Additional member benefit has been introduced for 2009.

We are happy to be working in partnership with Spark Data Systems; this software has partnership working written all over it!

Spark Data Systems is the UK's leading provider of Online Problem Solving systems, to the police and to local authorities.

Over the past 5 years their online systems have processed more than 9,000 problems, representing over £80m in government funding.

More than 50 Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships around the country use the Spark Online system to collaborate on projects, share information, and keep track of funding and progress.

The quarterly progress and finance reports for management write themselves!

But more important is that key information about work undertaken is structured using SARA and captured in a searchable way.

Users can already search on key words and find information about work carried out by other partnerships.

For example, a community safety officer in Kings Lynn can search on "speeding" and find out that Mid Sussex ran a "Community Speedwatch" campaign in 2007. They can see the assessment , if one has been completed, and email the project manager to get more information.

This search facility is now being extended to NCSN members.

You only get limited details, but there should be enough to see what work was undertaken, and who to contact for more information.
